Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) — An oil and gas platform in the Gulf of Mexico off the Louisiana coast was struck by an explosion today. Bloomberg's Pimm Fox and Michael McKee report the rig is owned by Mariner Energy Inc. (Source: Bloomberg)
