On Wednesday night, The US version of the X Factor made its debut and the one thing everyone noticed was Cheryl Cole's disappearing act in the second half. Cheryl Cole was initially recruited for the show. For various reasons, including one that claimed we couldn't understand her accent, Simon fired her and replaced her with Nicole Sherzinger. Unfortunately for Simon, most people actually enjoyed Cheryl on the show so getting rid of her might have not been such a good idea. In a review the New York Times wrote that Nicole replacing Cheryle “is a downgrade”. Ms Cole showed glimmers of being interesting; in two seasons as a judge on The Sing-Off on NBC, Ms Scherzinger was a pretty face but, judicially speaking, not much more than a seat warmer.” Cheryl Cole is so adorable and has such great style that she would definitely be great on the show.
