Coachella 2012 Lineup Creates Annual Music Fan Freakout Now that 2011's buzz has been calculated and its top 10 lists compiled, music fans can finally focus on what's really important: their packing list for the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Coachella kicks off the 2012 festival season with two consecutive three-day weekends this April 13-22. Highlights of the lineup include sets by Radiohead, the Black Keys and Dr. Dre with Snoop Dogg, and cult favorites like Portlandia star Carrie Brownstein's Wild Flag and your cool older brother's favorite reclusive songwriter, Jeff Mangum. But the festival also draws a host of up-and-coming indie acts like 2011 Internet darlings Real Estate and GIRLS, as well as surprise viral sensation Azealia Banks. This weekend of desert music can be yours for a cool $285, though VIP tickets can range up to the rock star price of $1300. Tickets go on sale through Coachella's website Jan. 13, but the website site has already been crashing from too many visits since the lineup was announced. The cast of the Vampire Diaries hit the red carpet and staged a total take over with their amazing good looks and impeccable style. The TVD trifecta — Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder came out for the show that most people call the kick off to the award show season. It looks like Ian and Paul might have chatted before hitting the carpet because both guys opted to put their own swing on a black and grey theme. Paul kept his look super casz in a black blazer and grey shirt and Ian classed-it up a bit in his black button up and grey pinstripe coat, complete with a pocket square. But let's face it, the real winner among these three when it comes to fashion in the lady — the lovely Nina Dobrev. Nina proved that she's ahead of the trends in her green Ellie Saab creation. I mean, take a look at those gorgeous lace and mesh sleeves — to die for. And I love that Nina kept her hair and make-up simple. If there was a PCA for hottest red carpet cast, I think TVD would have a strong shot at winning.
