Buzunesh Deba of Ethiopia on Sunday became the first woman to win the Twin Cities Marathon and Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth in the same year. Deba, 23, posted a time of 2:27:24 to win the Twin Cities Marathon, according to the race’s website — about eight minutes ahead of the second-place finisher.
